6th Hamburg Triennial Festival of Photography

This year marks the 6th Hamburg Triennial Festival of Photography, which took place from June 18-28th under the direction of its new curator, Krzysztof Candrowicz. The theme of this year’s festival was photography as it appears in film, exhibits, presentations, encounters and projections. The motto „The day will come“ served to encourage curators, artists, scientists and visitors to reflect upon the future of photography.

comXpert GmbH printed the works of Phillip Toledano, whose art was exhibited in Europe for the first time. The event was mainly sponsored by HP, represented by Andreas Tschunkert, and curated by Dr. Sabine Schnakenberg. In collaboration with curator Krzysztof Candrowicz we also printed the artworks of the exhibit entitled „Container City“, which was located outside of the exhibit halls.

The photographic reproductions of one of the main sponsors, „BMW/Mini“, were also printed by comXpert and displayed in the Container City.

Curator Henriette Vaeth-Hinz also had us print the Triennial banners that were hung around the city of Hamburg, announcing the festival events.
